Sound Design for Noonie Bao’s “I’m In Love”

The Swedish singer-songwriter kicks off her second album with a catchy rhythm and a wild music video.

Directed by the talented Sebastian Mlynarski, the video is a wonderful display of colour, hair, and vacuum cleaners. Noonie’s team has given me the task of reinforcing the intro with appropriate sound effects.

The resulting sound composition prepares the viewer that what they are about to see may transcend common sense.

This work was a little different from the usual thing – an actual music video as opposed to a parody of one – but in many aspects similar. It’s essentially foley sound work again, but somehow involving more grocery abuse.

Without further ado – Noonie Bao, I’m In Love.
